Pretty, antique German, signed MINERVA dressed tin metal head, 13"

Here is a particularly pretty example of a signed MINERVA German metal shoulderhead child or youngster measuring 13" tall, circa 1900-1919 with deeply molded, curly blond hair, beautiful blue painted eyes, delicate closed mouth, cheek blush, upper finely painted lash line, red eyelid line and single stroke brows, i ncised: Germany 2 on the back and Minerva (helmet) D.R. Pat. on the front, original, excellent, jointed, hair stuffed, German kid leather body with delicately, molded celluloid lower legs and feet that have joints just above her knees for ease in posing and sitting, matching cloth arms with original, German celluloid hands.  She wears her very detailed, antique dress, petticoat and matching pantaloons all trimmed with antique lace. She is in wonderful condition with no dents, chips, chipped or missing paint, no repaint and no odors as she is from a smoke free home (just a small amount of fabric damage to one side of her dress and petticoat that needs to be mended). These sturdy dolls often had chipped paint or dents from being the constant companion of a young child. (loc. S.Q. black) The rest of her family of dolls are not included and listed separately.
