14" AM "Mabel" Doll w/HH Wig In Pink Dress 8

Here we have a smaller size Armand Marseille "Mabel" Doll.  The pretty bisque head is free of any chips, cracks, or hairlines, and is attractively painted, with Mabel's characteristic almost-a-unibrow, brown fixed glass eyes (AM Mabels, characteristically, are brown-eyed girls!) and peach-colored cheeks and lips.  She has a human wig and it appears that a former owner may have used a hairspray of some kind on her sausage curls to keep them nice and the shape true.  Unfortunately, this is damaging to a human hair wig and rather than mess with it further by doing our usual wash and pick out, we left it "as is."  The wig looks fine on the doll, but does not have a soft "feel" of a human hair wig.  The doll is dressed in a pretty pink "wallpaper" print, with stripes and florals in white with a white eyelet collar.  A pink ribbon accent on the collar, with an embroidery floss "rose" decorates the collar.  A white satin sashis tied in a bow, at the dropped waist.  She wears white cotton stockings, white pantallettes, and white shoes trimmed with pink lace, which completes her outfit
