Lovely 17" doll from the estate of local teacher and artist Shirley Elfbrandt.
Doll head and I believe hands, feet, and shoulder plates are from Expressions Dianna Effner doll molds, bisque porcelain. Head and shoulders articulated. The arms are connected through the body to move together up and down.
Cloth body.
Back of head is engraved Elder Elf, Dianna Effner, 2003 Expressions and then signed by Shirly Elfbrandt. The face on this doll is exquisite and it is easy to see Dianna's work.
She is wearing a yellow dress (snaps in the back), bloomers, socks (no shoes), and embroidered overlay. The embroidered overlay is glued at the shoulder and waist seams and I was unable to take it off without ruining it.
Doll is adorable as is or could be turned into a cute Fairy Peddler from patterns from Expressions.
