WALDA 18" Girl Doll with Hat Vintage "Walda" doll features a hand painted face. She was manufactured in the 1970s- 80's and was popular among young girls at the time. Tag reads Albert E Price, Taiwan ROC She is wearing a brown print Prairie style dress and has a cloth torso. Overall, she is in great vintage condition. Her hand-painted face is all original and intact. Her dress is in great condition, though the bow at her neck is pinned on. I do not know if it came this way originally. but can be easily tacked back on with needle and thread. Walda dolls were all porcelain, fired and painted. She has an unpainted, white shoulder and porcelain arms and legs. She has her straw hat. Her rooted hair needs some care... it has quite the unkempt look.
