1950's Wanda Walker Wind Up Mechanical Walker Doll~ Advance Doll Co. Here is wonderful collectible vintage 1950's Wanda Walker 18" mechanical wind up walker doll made by the Advance Doll Co. I tried to take many pictures so you can see the different angles. One side of her body has the wind up crank and the other side has the metal pin that you pull out to start it after it is wound up. I got it to work once but now I tried again and nothing so I am listing it as non working. She has brown auburn hair, sleep eyes and red painted lips. I am not sure if the dress is original to her but it looks really nice and has a Saks Fifth Avenue label sewn in. I am not a doll expert but I think she is made of hard plastic or something else.
