1954 Joe Palooka Little Max hard plastic doll 16 inch EXCELLENT CONDITION Joe Palooka Little Max hard plastic doll from 1954! Made by the Personality Doll Corporation, Little Max was a mute eight year old character who was for a time the "star" of the Joe Palooka comic strip. This doll is in excellent condition, really looks like he was never played with. The clothing is immaculate. There is a bit of paint wear on the highest points on his hair, and a little dirt on his face which I have not tried to remove beyond dusting. He is on a generic stand which is not original. No box.
