Vintage Mattel 1966 Twist N Turn Twiggy Doll with Original Dress
Twiggy was the first Mattel doll fashioned after a real person. She was on the market in late 1967-1968. She has blonde hair, rooted eyelashes, twist and turn waist and bendable legs. Her outfit is a yellow, blue, green large vertical striped mini dress. The nylon panties and yellow boots are missing.
This was my Twiggy doll and I played with her quite often. She has some light scratches on her body, small marks and dirt stained areas on her legs, messy hair, and the paint on her lips as well as the end of her left eyebrow has worn off a little, but her eyelashes are still rooted, and her eyes are a bright blue. The dress is missing its Twiggy label and the thread for the top hook closure has come unraveled. Examine photos closely.
