1983 Cabbage Patch Doll Brown Hair, Eyes 1st Edition Freckles Head mold

This Coleco Cabbage Patch Kids baby doll is an amazing find since she has many unique characteristics for one doll that make her special to a collector.
- She is a first edition Cabbage Patch kids doll. With freckles. Her tag says 1978, 1982.
She was manufactured in 1983 by Coleco, and is an original, vintage piece.
- She has the ‘black signature’ of Xavier Roberts on her left bum, which is also consistent with first edition, cabbage patch kid dolls.
- She has a head mold #2.
- She also was made in Hong Kong, in the KT factory it’s said that this factory is known for making kids with small well formed hands…so you’ll notice her hands fingers aren’t wide & club like but are more so formed to make her look like real fingers and thumbs…definitely a unique feature to collectors!!
- She comes with all her Original clothing and diaper.
-She has brown hair- pigtails, a Lions Mane Bang, brown eyes, her adorable freckles.

This item comes from a smoke-free environment.
She is in beautiful, pre-owned condition.
She even comes with her original tag that was hanging on the rubber band around her wrist… The actual rubber band had hardened, and I actually had to remove it from her wrist. She had it on there all this time!
Her body tags are still super crisp, and bright like new.
She feels like she just came out of the box…her inside materials, are very crisp and firm. She can even stand on her own when positioned properly.
Her clothing looks like new, crisp & clean no flaws.
Hair doesn’t seem to have any pilling at all.
And she is still wearing her original diaper!
The only tiny things I would consider flaws, and would want to know if I was purchasing her without ever seeing her is that:
1.) She has a tiny light dot on her left cheek of her face.
2.) She has a spot on her back where her diaper line is those are both seen in the photos.
3.) And it almost looks like she has a snag on her backside by her tag in the photo , but it’s just the material she was made with.
4.) The 2 sticky tabs on her diaper to keep it closed, the stickiness has wore off and they don’t stay closed anymore. I did not want to put tape on it to keep them closed. I figured that the new owner could choose what they would like to do for that.
