1983 Vintage Mattel Chatty Patty 16" Doll Pull String 7023 Talks, Works
This doll appeared to be new as her hair is still in a net and she did not appear to have been removed from the box insert. Upon further inspection and also shown in pictures above the accessories were not in any kind of packaging and her pinafore was put on her. All the pictures I have seen of brand new showed these items were originally in separate packaging. Therefore she is being listed as pre-owned.
I will note she has been in storage and her pinafore bow where the pull string on the back is located is dusty which is shown in pictures above.
Upon testing the pull string does work and she talks. She did not always identify what was placed in her hand.
