From the Huggy Bean Collection, Huggy Bean, the first doll by an African American toy company, ever mass-produced, that came with a variety of toys and carried her won storyline connected to her African American Heritage, her friend, Super Style Huggy Bean from the Huggy Bean Kente Collection. She was manufactured by Golden Ribbon Playthings Inc., in 1990. Her vinyl head is marked Golden Ribbon Plaything 1984, with saran hair and painted features. Her cloth body is attached to vinyl arms and legs. All original, she is 17 inches tall.
