I'm selling this beautiful early 1988 white body "Dreamer" Kirsten doll that I very lightly restored. I am selling her for a friend, so I do not know her history. 💕 Original Condition/History: She has a meet outfit and partial accessories (spoon bag and bonnet). I can't confirm that the meet outfit was original to her, but it appears that way. The spoon bag has a cut American Girl tag and the bonnet is tagged 1988, which is kind of neat because it confirms that she's from early '88. She is one of the beautiful Kirstens that has the seafoam colored Dreamer eyes, despite what they look like in the photos. (They're much more muted and not turquoise.) She has amazing original facial coloring. 🖌 Restoration Work Completed: ● Kirsten's wig was thinning so hair wefts were hand-sewn into her wig using Gotz wig parts. ● Her bangs had a slight haircut, so her wig was adjusted downward ever so slightly to be at the point where they should be for her style. It was permanently glued in place. ● The wig was gently flat ironed to reduce frizziness. ● Doll vinyl was surface-cleaned. 📌 Noted Flaws: ● The back of her legs have a few faint rub marks (photographed). ● Her limbs are slightly loose but not enough to warrant restringing. ● There is some breakage toward the ends of her hair, as she was a lovingly played-with doll. ● This doll is 35+ years old, so please expect some light wear from handling and minor imperfections that may not be obvious to me or in pictures. ✏️ Additional Details: ● Listing includes the Kirsten doll and meet outfit depicted in photographs. Meet outfit consists of a dress with paper tag, pantaloons (elastic stretched), striped socks, shoes, 2 blue woven hair ribbons, apron, spoon bag (AG), and bonnet (PC 1988), all in used condition. ● Doll stand and other accessories/clothing/props not specifically listed in the description (but used in photos) are not included in the sale. ● Cross-posted on social media and eBay, so this listing may be removed at any time without notice. As always with my restorations, this Kirsten doll was assigned a serial number to track her repairs and will include a certificate of restoration signed by me. I take pride in my work and hope that you love her too!
