2006 COLUMBINE DOLL by R. JOHN WRIGHT - LE of 300 - MDC CONVENTION - MINT

COLUMBINE DESCRIPTION : This is the RARE COLUMBINE DOLL by R. JOHN WRIGHT . I purchased her at the 2006 Modern Doll Collectors Convention, known as the “Starlight Serenade.” Columbine comes from a LIMITED EDITION of only 300 . The Certificate of Authenticity indicates that this doll is #161. She was taken out of her box for the first time for her eBay photos. 15-inch Columbine is made of felt and she has hand-painted features. She has blue eyes and a blonde/light brown mohair wig. Her hair has curls on the top, along with 3 pink roses. She is wearing a BEAUTIFUL pink & white gown that has many ruffles and also has 3 roses. Also included are pantaloons, a layered underskirt, stockings and rose pink heels. She also has pearl drop earrings and a necklace. Also included is a large 4 1/2 inch rose, a 6-inch photo of the doll, the 2006 Modern Doll Collectors Envelope with the doll on the cover, and a Registration card (unused). The box came with a whole lot of soft white packaging paper. Just to let you know, I also have the Harlequin doll that is a companion for Columbine. He was made in 5/07 and his registration number is also 161. I can sell him on eBay separately . If you are interested, let me know and I can list him. ** As an adult collector, my dolls have been stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled room in my house. ** CONDITION : Columbine is in MINT condition. She has a fully jointed felt body with sewn knee joints. The knee joints seem rather loose, so she has difficulty standing on her own, which is probably common. Still, she is a FABULOUS doll!!!
