American Character Sweet Sue 17 inch strung doll in Gibson Girl style

For sale is a 17 inch strung Sweet Sue doll dressed in a handcrafted Gibson Girl style dress. The doll is in very good condition.  Her stringing is tight and her face is free of flaws.  Her body is clean but there is some variation in surface tone.  She is largely free of marks except for her neck which has some wear that is visible only on very close inspection.  She has a pale complexion with lightly blushing cheeks and knees.  She has a new wig which is not glued on.
The one-piece dress, which I made, is of cotton (skirt) and cotton-polyester (bodice) with a lace-trimmed cummerbund that snaps in the back.  All internal seams are machine-serged and all other stitching is by hand.  There is no exposed machine stitching.
