American Girl China Tea Set – Complete – MIB - Retired China Tea Set The China Tea Set (also known as Molly's China Tea Set ) was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1987 and retired in 2010 . It is associated with the book Happy Birthday, Molly! . The set consists of: · T eapot - White china teapot. White lid with red trim. Potted plant graphic on side: red, blue, and green flowers in pots on a red staircase. · Sugar Bowl - White china sugar bowl. Red trim. Potted plant graphic on side: red, blue and green flowers in pots on a red staircase. · Creamer - White china creamer Red trim. Potted plant graphic on side: red, blue and green flowers in pots on a red staircase. · Cups - White china tea cups. Red rim. Potted plant graphic on side: red, blue and green flowers in pots on a red staircase. · S aucers - Two white china saucers. Red rim. · Plates - Two white china plates. Red rim. · Knives - Two butter knives. White plastic handles. · Forks - Two metal forks. White plastic handles. · Spoons - Two metal spoons. White plastic handles. · Napkins - Two cloth napkins. Wide red, thin green, and thin blue stripes. Molly’s China Tea Set is now retired from the American Girl line and not available for purchase. Molly’s China Tea Set is in excellent condition and will come in their original American Girl box. The box is tagged MBACR China Tea Set ’99 made in China, Taiwan. I don’t believe they were ever played with. These items are not from a benefit sale or outlet for rejects or 'seconds': no 'x' mark and no tag removed.
