I’m proud of how far this beauty has come! I have loved and collected American Girl since the late 80’s and I’m excited for the opportunity to find dolls in need of a refresh and offering them a new home!
This is Tenney! As a self professed and proud Swiftie, I choose to imagine that Tenney is inspired by Taylor ❤️
She comes dressed in her sparkling performance dress paired with a pair of vintage Pleasant Company doc marten style boots that don’t belong with her but look awfully cute with this dress! She has been thoroughly cleaned and looked over. I did restring her with high quality cord since her limbs were very loose. I was able to remove many spots and blemishes on her vinyl, but there a few small flaws that remain- please review photos carefully for best representation of her condition at present. She has been played with and enjoyed and has a great future ahead! I will note specific condition issues below:
- Her head was previously attached with a zip tie as was common in this period with AG. I replaced with string cord, but had a little snag and ended up needing to sew a seam and it’s not beautiful. See photo.
- she was previously covered in weird random
Makeup and marker and I feel so confident I removed it all with lots of love and Eras tour energy…but goodness lighting is tricky! Please look carefully and know that I may have missed something small and if so, I apologize.
- there are light abrasions and dings/marks on Tenney…she was played with plenty! Nothing deep or crazy- I’ve done a lot to restore the majority of it…but there are always more to be found, somehow.
- her hair seems like it with hit with some scissors in the past. There’s tons of it and it’s hard to tell- but there are short pieces in back here and there and a few on top that are the telltale sign. I don’t think it’s obvious at all- judge for yourself 😎
- I’m including a pair of non AG doll undies for her just cause. Not pictured- they are just boring normal undies but not made by American Girl
She will be shipped carefully packaged in a box from a smoke-free home. Thank you for looking!
