Antique 1858 Greiner Label 26" Paper Mache Doll 5-Pc Dress Leather

Hello and thank you for looking at our Pricetronic store and hope you enjoy what is being offered for sale . Up for your consideration is wonderful antique Ludwig Greiner paper mache doll (with cloth body) dressed in her vintage/antique 5-piece ensemble which includes pantaloons, half slip, overslip with netted lace, skirt, faux bustle (faded), and top blouse.  Many, if not all, of the buttonholes on her outfit are handmade. In my opinion, she is in superior condition considering her advanced age.  She has a rub on the end of her cute little nose and at the back of her head, but her "hair" is vividly dark, as are her blue eyes and coral-color lips.  Her face is pale, as are her cheeks, but I believe this is just the nature of the papier mache.  I do not believe her to have had any touch up in her "life time," but I am not an expert. Her body is comprised of cloth and is not much discolored considering its advanced age.  Her upper arms have darkened, and the lower part of her arms are leather with her fingers individually sewn to show separation.  I do not some old moisture staining, mostly contained on the back of her left leg.  No odors! She retains her original GREINER'S Patent Heads Label with has a patent date of (18) '58 on her shoulder plate. Measuring from the top of her head down to the bottom of her shoulder plate, it measures 7 inches.  Her shoulder plate measures approximately 7 inches wide.  She's a big girl! She wears crocheted stockings and leather shoes.  I dare not remove them because I do not want to risk harming these fragile items. She weighs 2 lb. 4 oz. on my postal scale without her clothing. NO unpleasant odors.  No mold. She is a fabulous example of a true antique Greiner paper mache doll, one that is worthy to be added into the most descernbile collections. I plan on mailing her with her legs folded up and placed inside a box like that to save on shipping UNLESS I hear from you otherwise.  She will NOT be harmed in any way shipping her in this manner, but it is up to her new mommy's decision.
