VTG ARMAND MARSEILLE BISQUE HEAD BYE-LO? DREAM? BABY CELLULOID HANDS

This auction is for a fabulous vintage Armand Marseille German sleep eyes baby doll, with bisque head, celluloid hands and crier.  (crier is NOT in working condition).  It resembles my grandmother's Bye-Lo baby from the same doll maker in the same period.  So must have been multiple different ones from this mold.   It is only incised with A.M. on the back of her head.  She is in fair to good overall condition.  Fully stuffed no chips or cracks in the head.  The celluloid hands have seen better days.  One hand is missing several fingers.  But that's fairly normal for these little ones.  It became quite brittle.  She has a beautiful face but needs to be cleaned.  I am not a doll expert so I will sell and ship as is.  She is approx. 10 inches tall(if stretched out some).  She is wearing her original bonnet and christening gown.  They are both in fair condition.  Some fraying around the arms(don't know if it should have had sleeves?) and quite dirty.  The bonnet is split on the back seem(see photos) and fraying a bit.   But again, I will leave that to the new owner.  She is from one of the estates I'm working on.  The owner got this as a small child.  I am selling for her 80 year old daughter.  So the age checks out as well.  When the daughter was born, mom gave her the "hand me down" doll and made her this fabulous cradle out of an old oatmeal container.  She covered it in fabric and made pleated ends.  With mattress and pillow.    The oatmeal cradle measures as follows:  it is 10 inches end to end.  (since the doll has bent legs she fits snug)  It is approx. 5 1/2 inches diameter at each end.  There is an additional piece of clothing and a hankie that she used as a blanket.  I'm selling all of it together.  If you wish to only have the doll, let me know when you purchase and I will adjust shipping.  The price of the doll will be the same, with or without the cradle though.   I am selling several different estates simultaneously.  Thanks for stopping by!  Come back frequently so you don't miss anything!        sr HAPPY BIDDING!!!!!
