This beautiful antique baby character doll is a true gem for collectors of German antique dolls. The doll is made of composition and a bisque head, with light brown straight hair (probably not the original wig) and stunning unique blue sleep eyes. Measuring at 23 inches in length, this Simon & Halbig baby doll is highly sought after for its originality and authenticity!
The white spots on the bisque are smooth and not indented so believed to have happened when firing. She has some residue on the sides of her bisque head from the tape that held her pate in place. The lines on the side are from the mold and not cracks.
