Antique China Head Doll Original Rare Dolley Madison Late 19th Century European Antique "Dolley Madison" China Doll, late 19th Century European. The doll features a glazed porcelain head and limbs on a cloth body, with red/brown glazed hair and painted features. She is dressed in a new red velvet dress (for which Dolley Madison herself was famous), with petticoat and bloomers. The original yellow satin and black lace dress and undergarments (which are in poor condition) are included in the sale. The doll is approximately 18 inches tall and is in fair condition, with some damage to the hands and feet (see photos).
