Stunningly beautiful 16” antique wax over composition closed mouth doll from Germany. She was identified as a C.O. D. Cuno Otto Dressel doll. She is in very good condition. Clean and lovely. See her stamp on her right leg. Her head is in good condition. Looking at her straight on she looks very good. There are faint wax cracks on the sides of her face. They are there, but are subtle. See photos. Arms have some wear too. I believe the lower legs are just glazed composition. I don’t see wax on the legs. Tip of toes on molded boots are slightly dinged. Her dress and multi-piece undergarments were expertly handmade by the owner who is a wonderful seamstress. Notice the wonderful corset. She has what appears to be her original human hair wig and a lovely bonnet. Pretty necklace. She comes with her stand with a doily on it. Just an arresting expression on her face and clear blue eyes. A beauty!
