This beautiful antique doll has wonderful paint. She looks like she's off for a walk on a Fall day. Her antique silk ribbon weave dress has
been stabilized, there are tiny damage spots (2 or 3) to be expected with the great age. Her strapped boots have light orange
soles. Her hands have good detail. I suspect this beauty may be made by Kestner due to the fine quality of painting.
I added snaps to the bodice as it was pinned and many dolls of this age are. However skirt is re-sewn after restoration.
Her original mohair wig shows some age but is excellent. There are no hairlines, chips or breaks that I can see.
At 10" she is perfect to display she is an uncommon doll and looks like a transition from China Head's to bisque.
