Antique German China Head Doll, 1890's, Blond Low Brow Hertwig,

This lovely antique German china head doll was made by the Hertwig Company in the 1890's, and is 12" tall.  She has a low brow blonde curly hairdo, and pretty pink cheeks.  Her head and shoulders are made of china, and her body, arms and legs are of cloth.  The body and limbs may or may not be original to the doll.  She is wearing a black Victorian style mourning outfit, that is trimmed with lace and black velveteen ribbons.  She also has a magenta hoop petticoat and bloomers, plus black lace gloves and stockings.  The lace trim on one of the stockings is torn off part way, but should be easy enough to resew.  Her clothing is sewn on, so I couldn't see the condition of her body, but she appears to be in very good condition for her age (over 120 years).  She will be carefully packed and shipped by USPS Priority Mail.  Please ask if you have any questions.
