Antique German Papier Mache Head Milliners Model Doll This doll probably dates back around 1840-1850?
13.5 inches tall
with kid leather stuffed torso and wooden arms and legs
painted facial features with beautiful rosy cheeks
fully dressed
has some delicate conservative preservation from past owner - right upper arm seems to have an extra added layer of leather sewn over the original to hold it; and one leg's knee connection is covered over
Her sweet dress has 3 buttons in the back and there is an half slip/underskirt that buttons along with antique styled pantaloons fitted perfectedly to her torso. Two undergarments are pinned into the body to hold (one at the back and one at the shoulder). Her papier mache has some cracked and lifted paint at the shoulder. Hands have carved fingers viewable on the outside of the hand but not on the inside of the hand (This is not a toy for play but a fragile antique for collectors to enjoy in careful display) Please view all photos carefully. NO PARTIAL REFUNDS. Ships USPS GROUND - signature required upon delivery Thank you for stopping by my shop.
