Antique Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig 24" German Bisque Head Doll. This lovely antique doll has her original blonde mohair wig, perfect bisque head free from damage and repairs, early brown glass sleep eyes with artistically feathered eyebrows and delicately painted upper and lower eyelashes and pierced ears. Doll has an open mouth with teeth and even delicate facial painting. Doll is incised,"Germany Heinrich Handwerck Simon Halbig". Doll's body is composition and wood jointed in the original paint finish with some normal minor age wear along with the original factory Heinrich Handwerck red stamp along the rear torso as well. Doll is wearing her original lovely dainty antique pink print dress with layers of lace edged underclothing over a one piece teddy. Doll also wears a yellow velvet ? coat with some age wear and plumed hat as well. A lovely antique German bisque 24" doll just perfect for a special doll carriage or chair.
