Antique Pair Of 5" Mignonette Dolls

A pair of antique all original 5 " tall all bisque Mignonette dolls which date from the late 1800's. They are being sold together in one lot . They are unmarked and are most likely German made in the French style. The girl has brown glass sleep eyes, a beautifully detailed face, square cut teeth, painted shoes and socks and human hair wig with cork pate . There is a small chip on the bottom edge of her neck which doesn't show unless the head is pulled up as shown in the photo but no other flaws. The boy has stationary blue glass eyes, painted over the knee black stockings and brown shoes and human hair wig with cork pate. There is a tiny black freckle on the tip of his nose and some rough areas on his torso from when the doll was made. Both dolls have original handmade outfits which are fragile and discolored but very charming. The wigs on both dolls are sparse. The bodies have no chips or damage and have recently been restrung. The chair shown in one of the photos is not included. Please examine photos as we consider it to be part of the description and we do not accept returns.
