BAITZ Austria Boy Doll 9' Original Baitz Tag Authentic, Traditional

Offered a Austria Doll by Baitz 9" tall. Handmade in Austria with the company closing their doors in 1999. The dolls wear authentic, traditional costumes.Their stuffed bodies are wired for posing and wrapped with muslin/cotton, fascilitating the pinning of their clothes, to their bodies. Their arms and hands are made of felt, making the dolls appear as if they are wearing mittens. Hair is mohair and shaped and placed.  The Baitz Company always strived to be as historically accurate as possible, in their representations of the traditional  costumes of each region, state or province, of the countries they depicted.  Source: Elizabeth in Canada* Very good, clean minor age wear such as red tie frayed on ends, minor wear to felt hat.
