Barbie Evening Gala Reproduction - Beautiful Brunette - Gorgeous Outfit - NRFB! For beautiful ‘60s glamour, Evening Gala Barbie is a reproduction brunette side-part American Girl Barbie doll wearing a reproduction of the classic 1966 fashion Evening Gala.  This outfit features a long brocade overdress with ruffled satin pants or a long satin skirt.  Designed by Bill Greening, this wonderful Barbie was released in 2006 by Mattel as a limited edition of no more than 9,995 issued worldwide. This Barbie doll is in mint condition and has never been removed from her excellent+ box (there is a price tag on the front, a small crunch at the top right corner of the box, and a bit of shelf wear.)   I purchased her from Mattel when she was issued and she has been stored carefully, away from heat and light in my non-smoking home.
