He stands very well on his own having recently been re-strung. This Bimbo is an extremely RARE size. He stands 10.5” tall making him the largest of all the Bimbo dolls produced by the Cameo Doll Co. A near perfect decal on his chest reads “BIMBO” Des & Copyright By Fleischer Studios. This Bimbo was made without a tail. All the other Cameo Bimbo dolls have tails but not this one. Condition is as good as it gets. The wood parts all have great original paint. The composition head is also in fantastic condition. When I found this doll the black hair was criss crossed with white crazing lines. I decided to do something different to eliminate the crazing lines without having the black hair repainted. Using a very fine brush with a sharp pointed tip I carefully painted out the white lines. If you look closely you can see the lines but instead of white lines everything is black. Having eliminated the white crazing I can now call the condition close to flawless.
