This is a Patti Playpal collector doll by Aston Drake Galleries. A licensed reproduction of the 1960's Ideal Patti Playpal, originally modeled after a 3-year-old child. The doll has long, thick straight dark brown hair with kiss curl fringe, brown eyes, rosey cheeks, and an all vinyl head, body, arms and legs. Her knees and dimpled hands are "blushed." All original green velvet dress and blouse, panties, shoes and socks. No original box or certificate.
This doll is in very good to excellent pre owned condition and comes from the estate of an AD Playpal collector.
CONDITION:
Face: Clean. Working sleep eyes, factory painted eye brows and lower lashes, thick synthetic eyelashes.
Vinyl: Clean, no stains or marks visible.
Hair: Rooted well. Thick. Kiss curls intact. Original green satin ribbon.
Joints: Mobile. Sits, stands independentl when balanced properly. Head rotates side to side and tilts forward and sideways.
Outfit: No stains and in overall excellent condition. Fully self lined green velvet dress with detatched white blouse, buttoned in back. All buttons on dress/blouse intact. Party shoes with working snaps.
