For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Buddy Knox with The Rhythm Orchids titled "Party Doll b/w My Baby's Gone", originally released in 1957 by Roulette Records. This is the original first pressing, as indicated by the maroon labels and the roulette wheel. I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a s torage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The generic white inner sleeve is graded as Near Mint. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record between Very Good Plus and Excellent because of low levels of surface noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, lock-ups or skips from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a first pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping.
