This lovely antique German china head doll was made by the Kister Company in the 1860's, and is 10-1/2" tall. She wears a Civil War flat top style hairdo. Her head, shoulders, lower arms and legs are made of china, and her body is of cloth. The body and limbs may not be original to the doll. Her pretty period outfit is well-made, and sewn onto her, and includes a peplum style top with attached bustle and skirt in pale blue gray with black and gold trim. She has three petticoats, one lavender, one red with embellishments and one old lace-trimmed cloth, as well as an older pair of bloomers. She's in very good condition for her age (well over 150 years), with only a few tiny rubs on the back of her curls. She will be carefully packed and shipped by USPS Priority Mail.
