Connie Lowe Book Becoming Real The Life and Love of Stella ( Doll ) Signed
Item Description Becoming Real was a labor of love by Connie Lowe and Dr. Deborah Hood, the editor. Many of Connie's collectors submitted their own Stella pictures and those were added to the history and pictures of Connie's very own Stella. The first edition sold out. THIS IS THE 2ND PRINTING. And it is signed by Connie. I have 2 of these so if your signature is not exactly in the same place as my photo, it's because you got the other one. They are both pretty much the same. It is a hardcover coffee table quality book of 290 pages of history and gorgeous photos. It measures approx 12.25" X 9.25" X 1.25". If you are a Stella collector you need to have this book. Book has not been read and it was only opened for 2 of the photos. I have my own from the first release at BJDC in June 2023. This also comes with a postcard size what I consider a bookmark that will be tucked inside the book at the page where Connie signed it. It has READ and an old photo of her mom, Stella who this classic doll is named after. The other side of the card has the picture from the cover of the book. This book is almost 4 pounds. So figure 5 pounds with packaging. I am going to give options on priority flat rate or ground shipping. Use the drop down menu to choose which you would prefer. If I use media mail the book will not be insured and I don't think that is a good idea besides the fact it could take a very long time to get to you this holiday season. If you decide to buy both, depending on where you live I might still have to mail them separately. Two books will not fit in the flat rate box. I promise I will do my best and if I can ship for less I will give a part shipping refund. PLEASE understand that I have to give free returns as a top seller. But returns aren't free for the seller- we pay for them out of our pockets. So please be as sure as possible that you want this before you purchase. Your consideration is appreciated.
