D5, ARNETT'S COUNTRY STORE DOLL, Madeline & Moses, #1 of 500, 18 inches

A very special  Arnett's Country Store pair of dolls, the original head was sculpted by Maynard Arnette and reproduced with crushed pecan shells into the beautiful dolls faces.  Both of these dolls are # 1's of 500.  Madeline has a blue dress with white ferns and  a brown bonnet.  Mosie has a muslin shirt, blue overalls & hat and a blue calico tie to match Madelines' dress. Both dolls are 18 inches tall and 7 inches wide. Both are have bare feet.  The pair are quite heavy, the two weigh 6 pounds.
