The dolls were mostly produced in black, and to a much less degree, other colors.
Originating in Japan in the 1960s, the Dakkochan dolls took the youth by storm. They were worn on the arm as an accessory. Below is an archived Time Magazine Article

At over fifty years old, the doll is in UNUSED great condition, 100% intact, vibrant colors. packaging shows age and has some slits in the thin plastic and cardboard shows wear but intact.
