This is a vintage 1950’s era doll that was in a collection of 1950’s dolls that I inherited from my late Aunt’s collection. The head and body are in great shape, but I can tell when clothes are removed that they don’t truly go together. The doll has pretty silver wavy hair, blue eyes that open and close, and a light complexion. The doll is 10 inches long and has a hard plastic or maybe celluloid head and thinner plastic articulated body. It comes with a Horsman dress original tag is still intact, but has some stains, lace coming undone on sleeve and ribbon is wrinkled. Needs some work. Also she has on a bra and underwear. I believe after researching on eBay that she is a Virga or Ginny clone type doll head on a Vogue clone type doll body. The doll’s head seems to be of a younger age doll and her body is a teen or adult body style like Vouge. The doll is an original probably repaired collector's item made of hard plastic or celluloid head and thinner pliable plastic body and weighs 2.3 ounces. I am only guessing about this doll, because she is unmarked on her head and body. Only the dress is marked. Black plastic heals one has crack on side. Her feet are made for high heels. With a little TLC she could be a timeless treasure for those who love vintage fashion dolls. She’s pretty I just don’t have enough room to display all of my dolls. Maybe someone else can give her a better home or she could be used to repair other vintage 50’s dolls. Thank you for reading this detailed description. I wanted you to know what I think she is to the best of my knowledge. If you know what she is or are interested in buying her, let’s chat! I’m open to offers! Thank you! 😊
