Franklin Mint Collectible Marie Antoinette Heirloom Doll Description "Her Majesty, Marie Antoinette" Queen of France Limited Edition Franklin Heirloom Dolls, 1985 Marie Antoinette, November 2, 1755 – October 16, 1793. Born an archduchess of Austria, she was Dauphine of France from 1770 to 1774 and Queen of France and Navarre from 1774 to 1792. Married to Louis XVI of France, both were executed in 1793 for high treason (Marie, age 37). Since her death it is viewed most or all accusations against her were untrue and Marie remains considered to be a part of popular culture and a major historical figure. Complete & Includes: - 18.5” tall bisque porcelain and cloth doll, face & shoes are hand painted. Rising doll stand (shown). Sold without box or original packaging.
