Franklin Mint Heirloom Doll Joanna Blue Danube Waltz Musical Doll 1985

This is a Franklin Mint Heirloom Doll named Joanna. “Franklin Heirloom Dolls 1985” is impressed on the back of her neck. She is wearing a full billowing dress in a deep rose satin and has a lace trimmed petticoat and pantaloons. Her gown is trimmed in an ivory lace at the neck and sleeves. Her brunette hair is adorned with flowers. (Her hair is still in the original hair net). She has a bisque head, arms and lower legs (there are no chips, cracks or repairs). Her face is hand painted. Joanna was displayed for a short time but has spent the majority of her life packed away (so she is in clean condition). She has a music box inside her (key wind is in her back) playing “The Blue Danube Waltz”. Her fan opens, but the cardboard “ribs” need reglued. She does not have her original box.
