German Hansel & Gretel Dolls Porcelain Bisque And Cloth 8.5” With Stands Austria
Bavarian Alpine style dolls with porcelain bisque heads and limbs, tightly stuffed cloth bodies.
Both are approx. 8.5 inches tall x 5 inches wide.
Wearing traditional German clothing, they both have felt green hats and faux leather shoes.
Both are wearing socks.
The boy has a dark green knitted sweater over lederhosen.
The girl is wearing traditional dirndl style two piece dress with white bloomers underneath.
Their eyes are blue and very realistic, with real fiber eyelashes, and the girl even looks
a bit teary eyed.
We were told these were made in the 1990's.
Each doll includes a white metal stand that fits it perfectly. In very good clean pre-owned condition. The Hansel doll's hat has part of a feather remaining.
There is minor shedding of the hair on both dolls due to age.
