Gotz Puppenmanufaktur KIMBERLY - Vinyl 18" Precious Day Doll - RARE Asian Face Mold. Meet Kimberly. She is from Gotz’ Precious Day line and is quite rare. Note, in 2002, Gotz added several 18" dolls to their Precious Day collection, one of them being this Asian "pouty-faced" Kimberly. She was retired after only two years so she can sometimes be difficult to find. T hese Gotz dolls are close to identical to American Girl and can share clothes and accessories. Kimberly has a unique face mold - there are no others like her, to my knowledge.
This doll comes from an adult-collector, smoke-free home. She has rooted, brushable hair with a partial ponytail and bangs. Her eyes are smallish. She is wearing American Girl’s Butterfly Brocade ensemble, including shoes and purse. Note, shoes have not held up well but are fine for display and Kimberly can stand quite well wearing them.
Also of note: Kimberly has two very small transfer spots, one on each arm, not particularly noticeable but see photos. She is missing underwear but is otherwise in great condition!
