Wow! What an amazing find. I rescued this from an antique shop on my last trip and was so excited to have found it! This doll is featured in the Barbie movie. There were a few discontinued dolls from Mattel shown in the movie including this one, Sugars Daddy Ken, Growing up Skipper and Earring Magic Ken.
I was shocked to see it on the shelf when I walked into this tiny little antique shop. Now, she can be yours for your collection. As this doll was made in 2002 and was discontinued there are a limited number available. She was discontinued because people felt she promoted "teen pregnancy" and she was quickly cancelled.
This doll has never been removed from her box. The package is still completely sealed. It is in outstanding condition as well. The graphics are all intact, bright and clean. The plastic is sealed and only has a couple very minor slight bends, as shown in the photos. One side of the box has a slight crease. The corners are crisp, no paper loss there.
As you can see, Midge comes with all her accessories. Including the controversial removable magnetic belly. The little baby girl doll, a changing table, baby bath and bath toys.
