Haunted Paranormal 8" Arnart 1986 Musical Box Porcelain Harlequin Clown - Johnny - positive, loving -plays on its own
Purchased at an estate sale near Hazleton, Pa, we were told by a son, that this box had been a gift from their Dad to their Mom. She was a collector and after he had passed, being one of her favorites, he always told her when he came to visit he would let her know and play the song. When their Dad did pass away, several times, while visiting, they would hear the music box playing note by note, and their mom would smile and say, Dads here. They didnt believe , but she was a strong believer in visiting angels and spirits.
When I picked it up, his energy was strong. The hair on my arms stood up, I got the chills and I could hear in my head a jovial " Hello". Yes a man, being cordial meeting for the first time. Over the first night we noticed the atmosphere change, become upbeat and during the evening we did hear the music play. Just once, but about 5-6 notes of the song. We hadnt wound it since we were at the estate sale, when we had checked if it actually worked. Our dogs immediately ran in the room and when we went to check, there they were , tails wagging and staring at the music box. . The scent of cologne would become strong and disappear as quickly as it came. Our dogs remained in the room with him the entire evening and just trying to get them to go up to bed, was difficult to get them away.
When we turned on our K2, Mel meter and Rem pod, we started to get fluctuations in them. We asked him to light up the REM pod and in a few seconds he gave us a quick flash of bright white but seems he enjoyed manipulating the k2 and light up cat balls more. The temperature on the mel meter dropped 7 degrees. We asked through the spirit box if he in fact was their dad John. His response was " Yeah stayed". . We believe it was him telling us that he has stayed to be among his family like he told his wife he would. Again, as we spoke with him, the music box started to play slowly without being wound since we brought it home. Was like being pushed note by note. When we reviewed the EVP's and had asked if he was their dad, the unheard response was " They call me Johnny ". So we assumed he meant it was what family and friends called him and have used it since. Several times communicating we've learned that he had an illness, diagnosed late, but was okay because he was satisfied with the life he had. He loves being among family and our pets and loves to be kept in busy rooms of the house. Sometimes we move him from living room to kitchen so he can feel more relevant and in doing that, sometimes he gives us a few notes of music,. He is definitely a constant source of positivity.
Please note, as some have questioned a spirit not interacting with them in items they have purchased from other sellers, spirits have their own personalities, sometimes it does take them a day or two or even longer to adjust to their new surroundings. They dont do parlor tricks and if they choose to hold off on interacting, it is their right to do so. They Do Not perform on command. They should be treated with the respect they deserve and patience because in some cases it was not their choice or preference to stay among us.
I do start my bidding at just above the cost of what I paid for my items, as to cover the costs of selling. I dont believe in hiking them up, the bidding is your decision and rehoming the items is my goal.

Our family has been doing paranormal investigations for 14+ years. From Eastern State Prison, White Hill Mansion, NJ., Pennhurst Assylum, Salem Ma, Gettysburgh Pa plus many more locations. We’ve collected many haunted items over the past 11 yrs and at this point although I personally feel an attachment to them, we need to make room for some of our newer acquisitions. I’ll hope they are going to a good new home with someone who will treat them with the respect they deserve.
