Gofun Japanese Baby Doll
Approximately 10” long
Theses have been made for over 100 years and are still made today but I would guess this one around vintage 20’s - 30’s
Has some crazing near right eye and on legs, area of Gofun chipped away on right née and left toe.
Stringing isn’t perfect but it can sit on it’s own and the head can be posed
I usually call these boys but I suppose could be boy or a girl.
Original wig in good condition.
Some paint miss on lips
Has a cut out in body that holds a cardboard and Metal Voice box which no longer works but could be easily replaced because it slides right out.
Comes wearing clothing that appears to be original.
