Labeled CHAD VALLEY, Mabel Lucie Attwell, BAMBINA felt toddler googly

Meet our adorable, 16" tall, very RARE, character, "Bambina", cloth toddler girl doll by Mabel Lucie Attwell for Chad Valley Co. , made of tan velveteen with beautiful felt head (see page 118, 12th Blue Book-Foulke for photo). She has charming inset, large side-glancing,  👀 googly brown glass eyes, painted eyelashes, eyebrows and an adorable grin, thick chestnut brown, short human hair, hand sewn wig (no trim) wonderful color and expression, swivel head with applied ears, zig-zag head seam, jointed arms and legs with shaped knees , individually stitched fingers and toes, totally original clothing, pink and aqua blue felt skirt and jacket and organdy blouse with short puff sleeves and charming onesie undies with lace straps.  She is in very good condition with no holes or tears, no stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. She still has both her sewn-on labels on her feet . Needs shoes and socks. Circa 1927 , see page 47, "Cloth Dolls"-Judd.
