Madame Alexander Cissy Doll As Queen Elizabeth II 1955-56 21 inches. The year 1955 was a period of the reign of Queen Elizabeth when she was at her most glamorous.  Her youth, dashing new husband, and royal coronation, intrigued the world.  Sales of this Madame Alexander sored.  My parents gave me this doll in 1955 or 56.  I was never allowed to play with her and she has never been undressed.  She has been lovingly and carefully stored in a glass doll case.  Regretfully, I am looking for a new home for her. Her crown is intact, but there is a slight separation on one part.  Her hair is original and looks great, however her wig at the very front of her forehead has come slightly unglued.  I am fearful to try to fix.  A little superglue by someone who knows what the are doing will fix.  Her shoes are in good shape but the elastic straps have stretched with age.  Her price includes shipping  with insurance, and signature required at delivery.
