This adorable doll set is a licensed reproduction created by Madame Alexander Doll Company, based on Kay Thompson's Eloise Doll and Eloise’s companion, Skipperdee Turtle. The doll is 8 inches tall with light complexion, hazel eyes, and short and straight blonde hair.
Eloise’s outfit is true to Hillary Knight’s illustrations, including pink panties and knee socks. The set additionally includes Eloise’s pink purse to carry SKIPPERDEE. Also included are the Madame Alexander club card, informative hang tag, and the unique original box. The set is based on the literature of Kay Thompson and the artwork of Hillary Knight. This set is perfect for fans of imaginative play, Madame Alexander dolls collectors, Eloise enthusiasts and/or collectors of dolls based on excellent Children’s Literature!
This boxed doll set is in excellent clean condition and was removed from box to check condition and to take photographs. The set has been gently stored for years and was found to be in very fine condition and ready for a new owner. Eloise and SKIPPERDEE and the little turtle pet-purse appear to be excellent as seen in the photos. The box I am sure has some surface wear after nearly a 1/4 of a century but looks to be in extremely good condition.
