This is such a lovely and adorable 14 inch Madame Alexander Heidi doll, #1580.
She appears to be in unused collector condition, and has been stored in her original box with plastic protecting her face and a sheet of pink tissue paper covering her.
I have taken her out for the pictures so you can see how amazing she is!
She is wearing such a pretty outfit of a white elbow length blouse with lace trim, full green skirt with red and white flowers and white eyelet lace apron that ties in the back.
Under her pretty skirt, she has a white lace edged underskirt, lace trimmed knee length bloomers and white stockings and she is wearing a pair of black velvet shoes with gold square buckles.
To top it all off, is a straw hat with a black velvet ribbon and bow.
Her outfit snaps at back and has the original tag attached at back of dress
She has sleepy eyes that close when she lies down, and open immediately when she she is upright.
Her straight blonde hair is in mint condition in the original style with two braids tied with orange satin ribbons.
She was made in the USA, sometime from 1969 to 1985 with an original retail price of around $65.
You can see she has her original Heidi wrist tag. There are 2 initials and 65 in pencil, on the back of the Heidi tag, which can be seen in the pictures. The 65 was probably the original retail. I do not have her listed as new, just because she is somewhere between 39 and 55 years old.
Her arms work well for posing, and she would be lovely displayed. She makes me think of the mountains in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and the movie, The Sound of Music!
The box does have some shelf wear from storage, and so does the sheet pink of pink tissue paper. I notice the lid of the box is a slightly different color blue than the main box.
