This is Danbury Mint's 35" SHIRLEY TEMPLE PLAYPAL doll, manufactured in 1991 of collector-quality hard vinyl. She is outfitted in an original plaid dress outfit reproduced by Danbury Mint from Shirley's movie "Bright Eyes," accessorized with white ankle socks, reproduction Playpal black patent leatherette Mary Jane shoes, white panties, and a reproduction silver plastic Shirley Temple script pin.
I have several of these Shirley dolls which I must part with due to lack of space and they're listed here on eBay.
The doll's rooted hair is in its original factory hairset protected by a hairnet. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. Her eyes are brown open/close sleep eyes which work fine. She is clean with no defects or odors. She is marked on her neck "Shirley Temple" in an engraved signature and on her upper back with a "D" over an "M" and "MBI." This doll has twist wrists, similar to the old 1950's Ideal Shirley Playpals. From a smoke-free home, with no defects.
The doll does NOT come with an original box nor any paperwork, however, she will come with an appropriately-sized metal doll stand and will be packed carefully for her trip to her new destination. She is a heavy doll so shipping might run higher. I only ship to the continental U. S. and will NOT ship overseas or internationally. THIS IS A FINAL SALE - NO RETURNS ACCEPTED of this doll.
