Modern Vinyl Dressed Play Doll Signed - 2001 Mary Lynne on foot Gorgeous Pink and White Striped Long Gown! And Bonnet of Course Hair in Blonde Ringlets - Inset Blue Acrylic Eyes This beautiful doll is a limited edition of 100 of which she is number 43. She is one of the modern vinyl reproductions of the original Mary Hoyer dolls so loved in the past, made by the present-day Mary Hoyer Doll Company in the United States and signed on the bottom of her foot by Mary Lynne Saunders, Mary Hoyer’s granddaughter who now runs the company. She comes with her original box and tissue. She is wigged with a hairstyle of blonde ringlets and blue inset acrylic eyes. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. Her stringing is tight enough to pose but her head does tend to tip sideways if she is moved. She wears a charming long pink and white striped gown with white lace trim at the neckline and sleeves, and a matching bonnet. She wears white Mary Jane shoes, lace-trimmed taffeta panties and stockings. Like the vintage dolls, the play dolls had sewing patterns and many adorable outfits and accessories are currently available for them on the Mary Hoyer Doll Company website.  Lots of Ebay seamstresses sew for them too, often with holiday themes, so you can dress them for each holiday throughout the year. The doll will be well packed in a cardboard box around her Hoyer box, which flattens for storage. The winner pays actual USPS shipping with insurance included. I pack very well but unfortunately I have had a few things I shipped or received lately arrive flattened like a truck ran over them. No amount of packing would have helped.  If anything is damaged I will handle the return and insurance claim but the buyer MUST send me photos of the damaged item AND the packaging as it arrived.
