Most Interesting Antique Poured Wax "Old Lady" Doll Posed Seated

ANTIQUE WAX "OLD LADY" DOLL This very old wax Lady with painted features and wire glasses is most interesting and expressive. She has a poured wax head and detailed hands and has stuffed torso and legs and arms. She is formed (maybe a wire armature under her stuffing) with legs bent at the knees, as shown, and sits nicely in a chair or on a shelf. (Chair and book she is holding is not included.) With her legs bent, she measures abt. 17" to 18", as shown, and will require a large shipping box. Her grey hair (have no idea what material) is parted down the middle and pulled in a bun of sorts. Clothes - cotton printed skirt, eyelet blouse, shawl, slip, stockings and shoes - are all antique.  Blouse is a bit dingy and you may choose to have it laundered.  I did not want to undress her as she is somewhat fragile with head a bit loose. She does have cracks and hairlines I tried to show in the wax from age, although they do seem stabilized and old. This Old Lady displays well and makes a statement!
