This hair type is as new to us as it is to you, so please bear with us as we continue to learn about this product to offer you the best information and tips we can! This is an actual three strand braid and not just a double twisted strand. All our custom doll hair is 38 inches long so you can make mulitple lengths. Perfect to reroot and restore and all your custom dolls! Nightmare is our purest black nylon. A size #1 needle is needed to reroot braids, as they are much thicker than the traditional single strand. You will need to be careful to prevent tearing of the scalp with this larger needle size. Only reroot every 3rd plug and make sure to prepoke each plug with an awl or thumbtack right before going into the hole with your size #1 needle. Warming the scalp with a hair drier or placing it on a warmer can also help soften the vinyl. This gorgeous nylon doll hair comes straight from the manufacturer that supplies MGA, Hasbro and many of the world's leading doll and toy companies! This is the same hair used in Rainbow High dolls and vintage My Little Ponies.  It's ultra soft and silky with a beautiful shine. This n ylon is supple and holds curls very well, pefect for all your custom rehairs or doll restorations! We do not recommend heated human styling tools, but boil perm or cold water methods are safe.
